Record Texas Snow

All time record for snowfall here in Dallas. Snowed for more than 24 hours and we had about 12 and a half inches. Here are some shots from around the neighborhood. I picked out what I thought were the better shots even though they didn't give a sense of the actual amount of snow that fell. Wish I would have noticed the date stamp was on and turned it off.

Can you believe this weather. I was in Dallas in the '80's when this major ice storm came through. I was trying to set up our showroom at the Furniture Market and it was crazy. Just drank a bunch of marguaritas at Raphaels on McKinney. Wonder if he is still around, best food I ever had!

my friend in dallas told me about all the snow they got, nice to see pictues though. i remember the 80's ice storm, i was a kid and remember the power being out for days. i know it's a big hassle, but what fun for the kids to have that rare snowball fight! i remember a snow day in highschool in the late '80s, the 4H guys in their boots holding on to the tailgait of their pick-ups and sliding across the SGHS parking lot. haven't thought about that in years! :)
